Farah Emara is co-founder and CEO of FreshSource, the Cairo-based B2B agritech platform she launched with her brother Omar Emara in 2019 to digitise Egypt's fresh fruit and vegetable supply chain. FreshSource serves restaurants, hotels, online retailers and traditional retailers in 11 Egyptian cities, raising farmer incomes by ~15% while cutting food loss to under 5%. She is a 2023 Cartier Women's Initiative Fellow.
